I did some freelance work in March and am still awaiting payment - I'm fobbed off with excuses each time I call up. What's the next step? It was through an agency and I was hoping they would offer more work.

Hi Avigail.

We'll see if any of our partner law firms have anything to suggest to you. But in the meantime, have you checked the range of guidance relating to late payments in the 'Preventing late payments' (http://bit.ly/avgJdZ) and 'Chasing debts' (http://bit.ly/aF4kcI) sections of the site? Hopefully you''ll find some useful pointers there.
