I note the new EU regulations with particular emphasis on online selling. I was hoping that they might resolve the situation where we are prevented from making online sales ourselves and must direct customers to the manufacturers website. While the wording in the new guidlines was encouraging in referring to this practice as being clearly a "hardcore restriction" it seems that the regulations themselves only apply where the balance of trade between EU member states is affected. We are not in this bracket.
Can anyone provide more specific advice? The policies of our supplier seem to be clearly anti-competition and they have got legally "heavy" with anyone not complying with this policy. The policy itself was clearly aimed at fixing prices online. We are also prevented from advertising any other products so have had to launch a new website for these.
Thanks
