There are many examples of terms of business available on the internet (although note we would never condone infringement of someone's copyright by taking them and using without consent), but the key to getting these right is:
(1) make sure they fit how you operate in practice, otherwise you will struggle to rely on them; and
(2) ensure they form part of the legal contract between you and the customer/client, otherwise they won't be enforceable - thus having them on the back of an invoice, delivered after the services have been performed is pointless as the terms will not be incorporated at the time of agreeing the contract.
Beware that some advisers provide great templates, but not the advice necessary to make them work for you in practice.
We have recently provided terms of business to a graphic design client, so have a good starting point - by all means get in touch and we can work with you to tailor them to fit your business.

Mark, we're delighted to hear that you got in touch with BP Collins and used them to set up this important aspect of your business. Does anyone else have any suggestions or links to good resources?

Thanks Simon - good advice. How can I contact you to discuss? Your details don't come up on your profile.

Try Antonia Chitty's Guide for Mumpreneurs. I know recommending that to a guy...but it is good.
Yes there are lot of difficulties to retain the possibility of actions for membership
Hi Tola, Does that guide have useful info specifically on terms and conditions, or is it more of a general/all-round recommendation?
