any idea's welcome
i've been suspended from work for nearly 5 months now, I haven't been told how long it will be for and also haven't been kept informed by my employer the reasons why this length of time is need.
the company has policies relating to timescales for suspensions and keeping employees informed of the timescalse and reasons for extending these in writing to the employees.
would I have grounds for a tribunal or constructive dismissal if I left due to the lngth of time and stress off not knowing whats going on and the company not following their written policies.
Also the intial information supplied, was innacurate in its content and unchallenged by myself (allowed in their policies). The person that first made the allegations has since written to the employer to dispute the allegations against me.
I would be grateful of any help or suggestions.
Hi Mark
This is not a straightforward question. There are many variables and considerations. You should visit a local employment law solicitor for advice.
